  1. Can help increase total dietary fiber intake which can also reduce risks for, inflammatory bowel disease, heart disease, obesity, diabetes and colorectal cancer.

  2. Omega-3 fatty acids in flax can help in improving blood cholesterol profile

  3. Alpha-linoleic acids (ALA) in flax has anti-inflammatory benefits that can help improve blood pressure, help protect from heart attack and stroke, exert a healthy effect on skin and aging.

  4. Lignans in flax may lower risk of endometrial cancer in post-menopausal women, help reduce tumor growth in women with breast cancer, help protect men from prostate cancer and help decrease blood sugar in Type 2 diabetic patients.

For a family of 4, this can last us for up to 6-8 weeks.

P.S. As per Center for Disease Control (CDC) people with underlying medical conditions such as cancer, obesity, type 2 diabetes among others are at increased risk of severe illness from this virus.
